LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system aimed at improving energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of our natural resources. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED provides building owners and operators a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
Tom Andrew is a NAHB Certified Green Professional and would be happy to discuss how the different certification processes can add value of your building projects. For additional information go to Energy Star and LEED Programs. You may also enjoy reviewing the Business Case for Green Building.
