Trex Decking 2025
New Colors Combined with SunComfortable™ Technology

Trex decks for every lifestyle and budget.
Each Trex line offers new color choices with updated design aesthetics that feature new grain patterns with subtle streaking and refined embossing. These latest additions also incorporate Trex’s new SunComfortable™ technology that keeps these boards up to 37 degrees cooler.

Keeping Those Bare Feet Cool
Color plays a big role in how hot your deck gets in the sun. Light-colored boards like white, gray, or tan absorb less heat, keeping the surface cooler for sunny spaces. Darker colors like black or brown absorb more heat, making the surface hotter.
With Trex’s latest innovation, SunComfortable™ technology, these new products reduce heat buildup by up to 37 degrees Fahrenheit compared to their original boards. Advanced heat-mitigation properties engineered into the shell of the boards reflect the sun and keep the surface cooler than other composite decking offerings of a similar color.
Although Trex decking products with heat-mitigating technology are designed to be cooler than most other composite decking products of a similar color, on a hot sunny day, it will get hot. On hot days, care should be taken to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface, especially with young children and those with special needs.
Trex Decking Offers More
All Trex products are sustainably made from up to 95% recycled and reclaimed content and engineered with a proprietary, high-traffic formulation and ultra-durable integrated shell that resists stains, scratches and mold. They won’t rot, warp, crack or splinter like wood, and upkeep is hassle-free. No sanding, staining or painting is ever needed, and spills wash off easily with just soap and water.
Seven New Hues
Seven new hues have been added to the Trex color selection line up including Salt Flat, Hatteras, Malted Barley, Millstone, Whiskey Barrel, Honey Grove and Tidal Pool. All with the latest heat mitigation technology to keep your deck surfaces cooler on those hot summer days.
